tanks & the BC-10 which allows the use of the BCI-10 Large

About the ink cartridges.
These cartridges are ink tanks and do not have a print head
attached. The print head is a permanent or interchangeable part
of your printer and is a separate component to the ink
cartridge.
Although very small, the BCI-10BK is the larger of the black
cartridges and most models above require the BC-10 print head
carriage to be installed in order to use these cartridges.
The BCI-11BK & BCI-11C are the very small black & 3
colour cartridges for use with the BC-11 print head carriage.
On most models above, the carriage has to be changed to accept
these cartridges.
All of the BCI-10BK, BCI-11BK &
BCI-11C cartridges come in a pack of three. Therefore, ordering
a single means a single box of three.
Cleaning information:
If your printer shows broken lines when printing, then the print
head is usually suffering from a blockage or air lock. To clear
the blockage / air lock, carry out a head clean in accordance
with your printer software and user manual. If blockages are
severe, clean the print heads 3 or 4 times without doing the
nozzle check, only print the nozzle check after you have cleaned
the heads 3 or 4 times. The blockages should now be cleared or
at least you should see some improvement. If still not perfect,
carry our 3 or 4 more cleans and then print the nozzle check
pattern.
If a blockage cannot be cleared using
your standard ink cartridges, then there are compatible cleaning
cartridges above for the BCI-21 cartridges, which contain a
cleaning solution.
Use them like a cartridge until the head is clear, then replace
the ink cartridge and seal & store the cleaning cartridge
for future use.
